The app screwed all my system settings without my consent. The app is great, but the amount of time that I’ve spent fixing settings killed all the impression.

This app made itself the default for opening some file types, resulting in some confusion for me when I tried to open those files. I consider that very bad behaviour.

It was good for calculate hash. HOWEVER, It keep setting itself as the default app for almost all file types, when u open an .rar, it came out instead of your unarchive app, when u open a mkv file, it came out instead of ur favourite player. Also it sometimes pop ADs about author’s other apps. Please keep it simple and focus what it should be!

It sets itself as the default appliaction for just about every filetype and there are NO PREFERENCES to change this behaviour. Huge wart on an otherwise decent app.

Even at free this is too expensive. This software does nothing special (there are other file viewers out there) however it takes control of many of your file types without warning, and advertisies the *** out of it’s other software every time it opens. I really don’t trust that this isn’t doing other more nefarious things with my data. I would rate it at -5 if there were such a thing as a minus rating for the interferance it does with it’s own self.

After installing it, it’s the default app for opening all kinds of file types like my videos and even contacts!! Had to uninstall immediately.

I use this tool for a simple checksum verification. It may be very useful to people who can not use the terminal command. I have used xxHash copy software that you create. Advanced file copy software is often to use the xxHash. We want you to support the xxHash.

A lot of ads, almost no functionality. Deleted immediately after installing.

I installed this app hoping that it would solve my problem of converting .mrk files to .jpg. When I opened it, I was hoping for some instructions of how to use it but the explanation wasn’t there so I went searching on Google and nothing, so I’m going to delete this app

how does one speak hexadecimal … it is not accepted in today’s world. how could one know what a series of numbers means… it is jibberish to most. thank you

I am really enjoying this program; I use this program to find the integrity of a file.

Very usefull tool. Instantly check if files you have downloaded match the checksums from online! Access hex dumps of files, which comes in handy when doing low level programming. It would actually be nice if this was a built in feature of Finder! I would pay good money for an extension like that.

Quickly and crisply generates checksums even for large files, and displays them in a nicely-laid-out summary that’s easy to copy-and-paste from.

Does exactly what it says in a minimal, clean format.

Its a convenient little tool. Makes me life more easy.

This app is wonderful and I am really glad I got it. It is definitely helping me out!

This application does do the job it advertises. But it has too many popup screens for a utility and other disturbing crapware like features normally reserved for the Windows eco-system. The worst violation of trust with the user is that this app will change many of the file associations causing this spamware to launch instead of the correct application. I’ve experienced this with many of my media files including m4v and mkv files. I honestly do not know how this applicationn stays in the app store. I have already uninstalled this app.

I’d seen the file assocation problem before and I intend to report this to Apple. Why now? Because this programs malware behavior is intentional, as demonstrated by the generation of file kinds of “Gen447,” “Gen525” and on and on forever. As soon as I can verify a clean uninstall, it’s gone.

This app is trash i hate it, it stops me from downloading things and their is no way to delete it i want it gone
